They Say Drinking Tea Won Us the War

Following the devastating outbreak of COVID-19, we decided that as a company we wanted to do more. Circular’s Reusable Coffee Cup is the most usable reusable on the market and our hearts went out to the key workers fighting on the front line of this global pandemic. To show just a small gesture of our appreciation, we started the Key Worker Reusable Cup campaign, titled ‘The Say Drinking Tea Won Us the War’ on instagram and as they say, the rest was history.

Having already gifted Circular Reusable Cups to our local hospital to keep the COVID-19 positive ward at Treliske Hospital safely hydrated, we had received some incredible feedback and lovely imagery from the doctors and nurses on the ward. Using this to kickstart the campaign we launched an ongoing social giving competition, to run each week for the foreseeable future.

Derriford Hospital

We were overwhelmed with our followers kindness and the incredible stories that they were sharing about themselves and their nominees, there was no way we could select a winner! Using a random generator, we picked our first winner and from there, we repeated this process each week. For us, this campaign was about getting our genuinely useful cups into the people’s hands who truly need it through these difficult times, whether that’s NHS staff, Carers, Teachers, Delivery Drivers, Supermarket Staff or Community Groups, our aim was to create a circular giving community.

But as they also say, ‘all good things must come to an end’ and sadly after 6 weeks, the competition came to a close. Inspired by the positive feedback of Circular Reusable Cup we have created our Key Pricing Structure, this enables UK key worker organisations to bulk purchase Circular Cups at a discounted price for themselves and their teams. Now more than ever, we recognise that we are stronger together and we would love to continue supplying our products to the vital members of our community.
