Designed with complete circularity in mind, the Circular Travel Mug is made from recycled coffee mugs and is recyclable itself after 10 years of use.

Perranporth, England –  The future is circular, and the future is here. Today, Circular&Co. expands its business worldwide by launching the Circular Travel Mug on Kickstarter. Each mug is 100% leak-proof, made from six single-use recycled paper coffee cups and designed to last a decade.

A dirty secret? Grab-and-go, single-use coffee cups from any local coffee shop usually aren’t recyclable. To prevent that latte from leaking, the cups are coated with a thin layer of plastic. While many have begun bringing their own travel mugs, traditional options aren’t a solution to the global plastic problem.

The Circular Travel Mug was designed to be completely circular, and a pivotal part of the solution. It’s made from used paper coffee cups that have been collected from coffee shops, supermarkets and more. The Circular Travel Mug features a unique push-and-click top that can be opened with one hand. Plus, the unique 360-degree lid allows for coffee to be sipped or poured out from any side, making drinking easier and safer for users while driving or traveling.

Back in 2011, the BBC estimated that 2.5 billion coffee cups were thrown away annually in the United Kingdom. That’s only a fraction of the hundreds of billions of cups estimated to be tossed globally. The Circular Travel Mug is durable, dishwasher safe and designed to last up to 10 years. At that point, it’s fully recyclable, contributing to the circular economy. No waste here.
